Design take into account temperature; thermal cycle; maintenance schedule; presence of chemicals (within or outside the system); and, of course, physical dimension of the item to be covered. Custom Fit - Misfits are almost worse than no insulation at all. Quality Materials - Silicone impregnated glass cloth; Velcro or stainless closures; custom designed filler. Flexible or Rigid Design - Depending on customer preference Permanent Identification - Identification tags have numbers keyed to drawings on file in case a new cover is ever needed
